About Julie · the person behind DazzleCare

Hi, I'm Julie. I built the place I couldn't find.

I am a physical therapist who works with the kind of pain and instability that does not sit still: hypermobility, dysautonomia, and the complex chronic conditions that travel with them. DazzleCare is where I teach what I wish every one of my patients had from the start.

welcome. you found the trailhead.

The short version

I am a physical therapist, and I live in a body from the same constellation my patients do. That double citizenship is the whole practice: I hand you the real science, and I know from the inside what it costs to be handed anything less.

Why DazzleCare exists

Most rehab fixes the structure and assumes the function will follow. That only works if the system is already regulated enough to respond, which yours often is not. My clinical model, Griffis Sensory-Metabolic Integration, inverts that order: we settle the organizing intelligence first, the nervous system and the metabolic floor, and the structure begins to reorganize itself once the body trusts that movement is safe. For a hypermobile body, stability is a nervous-system task long before it is a muscle task.

DazzleCare exists because the people who most need that understanding are the ones the field quietly leaves out: the lowest-capacity body in every room, the one handed the anxiety label instead of an answer. This is a school for complicated bodies, built so that nobody has to read their own labs at two in the morning, alone.

"The promise I can actually keep is not a quick fix. It is safe enough to get strong."

Where to find me

The writing life of this practice lives at Feral Fascia, and the day-to-day teaching happens on social.
